A New England newscaster for WMAR-TV for over 20 years, Barth currently works in broadcast news in the Washington, D.C. area.

Janet S. Cromley
Long Beach, California
Since 1984, Cromley has contributed to a number of publications, including the Los Angeles Times, where she was a writer and editor for over 20 years.

Marian M. Cromley
Falls Church, Virginia
Cromley was an editor and freelance writer for several years. Her husband, Al Cromley, was the long-time Washington, D.C., Bureau Chief for The Oklahoman and also served as president of the National Press Club.

M. Kay Dyer
El Reno, Oklahoma
Dyer was the first woman to be promoted to city editor for The Oklahoman. Her family publishes the El Reno Tribune, a bi-weekly Oklahoma newspaper. She was inducted into the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame in 1992.

John T. Greiner, Jr.
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Greiner was a Capitol Bureau reporter for The Oklahoman for 37 years. He was inducted into the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame in 1993 and awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Society of Professional Journalists in 2010. His retirement in 2009 prompted a state Senate resolution in praise of his work.

Ed Kelley
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Kelley, current editor of The Oklahoman, was inducted into the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame in 2003, and was also honored in 1996, when the National Press Foundation named him Editor of the Year.

John A. Rieger
Norman, Oklahoma
Rieger is managing editor of The Norman Transcript and has enjoyed careers as a reporter, editor, and assistant university professor at the University of Oklahoma. Rieger serves as chairman of the advisory committee.

Schaffer was an editor for The Philadelphia Inquirer for over 20 years. A Pulitzer Prize winner, she is also the founder of J-Lab, an interactive journalism institute, and currently serves as its executive director.

Vivian Vahlberg
Kenilworth, IL
President of Vahlberg and Associates, Vahlberg is an expert on the news industry, philanthropy and nonprofit management. Previously she was managing director of Northwestern University’s Media Management Center, journalism program director at the McCormick Foundation, executive director of Society of Professional Journalists, and Washington correspondent for the Daily Oklahoman. The first woman president of the National Press Club, she is a member of the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame.
