Grant recipients are
required to execute a grant agreement and
send an acknowledgment letter and receipt
for the funds upon arrival of the Foundation's
check.
Evaluation information about the expenditure
of grants and program outcomes are required
by the Foundation every six months after
grant monies are received and continue until
all Ethics and Excellence in Journalism
Foundation funds have been expended. Should
grant funds be used for equipment, written
reports regarding the equipment are required
every three years, until the equipment is
transferred, sold or otherwise disposed.
